Overview of the 5 Day Marangu Route:
The Marangu Route, also known as the Coca-Cola Route, is the oldest and most established route on Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the only route that offers sleeping huts along the way, making it a popular choice for climbers who prefer more comfort. The Marangu Route is also known as the easiest and most direct route to the summit, with a success rate of around 80%.
What to Pack:
You’ll need to pack warm and waterproof clothing, sturdy hiking boots, and a backpack with enough space to carry your essentials. We recommend hiring a porter to carry your gear, so you can focus on the climb. Our team can provide you with a complete packing list and advice on what to bring.
What to Expect:
Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu Route is physically demanding, and it requires a good level of fitness. You’ll be hiking for several hours each day, and the altitude can make it even more challenging. However, with proper training and preparation, you can reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu Route in 5 days.

If you’ve chosen airport transfers, we’ll collect you from Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport and transport you to your Moshi hotel or Arusha Hotel.
