DAY BY DAY PROGRAM
Day 1 Arusha-Manyara National Park
After breakfast, start your Tanzania wildlife safari with a drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The Park is perceived for its inconceivable beauty. Many animals can be seen such as Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo, Baboon and others. With lucky Lake Manyara tree climbing lions can be seen on the branches of Acacia trees having nape. Dinner and overnight included
Day 2 Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will drive towards the most famous National park in the World, the Serengeti, via the beautiful farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A lot to be seen on the way, you will drive across Ngorongoro Highlands & down to the plains of Serengeti, grazing Zebra, Elephant, Giraffe and many Antelopes to be spotted on the way. The park has 5,700 sq. mile (14,763 sq. km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of Zebras and all kinds of Antelopes including the abundant Impalas and Thomson's gazelles. As for Big Cats and large Predators, it's the place of choice to look out for Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Hyenas. Smaller animals like Foxes, Mongoose, Honey badgers, Jackals, Monkeys, Baboons, Rock Hyrax and African hares, together with more than 500 species of birds, also inhabit this park. Dinner and overnight inluded.
Day 3 Game drive at Serengeti
On the 3th day of your safari (If you wish) you can start with the first rays of the sun at 06:30, for an early morning game drives in the Serengeti, (packed breakfast box and lunch box will be on board) drive around to see some nocturnal predators coming back from their long night of hunting or some lioness organizing an ambush while other animals are coming out from their hiding place read to start the new day. Back for breakfast in the bush and continue with game drives until noon you can have your packed lunch at Seronera Visitors Center and after lunch you can have a short visit at the center where you can read some interesting documentary about Serengeti. Embark with your afternoon game drives and return to your Lodge for brunch and a welcome siesta, before setting off in the long rays of the mid-afternoon to watch the Serengeti day drawing to a close in its haunting golden light – fabulous for budding and seasoned photographers to capture some moody, dreamy shots of the Endless Plains – Siringit in the Maasai language. Dinner and overnight inluded.
Day 4 Serengeti - Ngorongoro
Enjoy early breakfast and meet your guide to have a last morning game drive in Serengeti National Park then depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area with en-route game drive and picnic lunch. We will be passing via Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai Gorge is the prehistoric site where Dr. Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo habilis (?Handy man?) regarded as mankind?s first step on the path of human evolution. Dinner and overnight inluded.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
After an early breakfast you will leave the Camp/Lodge and drive through the Rift Valley to the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro highlands. The Ngorongoro Crater, it is the world’s largest volcanic caldera, is almost 20km wide, approximately 600 m deep and is known for its large variety of wildlife, including the “Big Five” – Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard. Ranked as 8th wonder of the world, Ngorongoro is the world’s largest unbroken caldera often referred as (Garden of Eden). A truly epic part of your wildlife Safari.
In addition there are various springs attract animals such as Wildebeest, Gazelles, Reed Bucks and more than 500 bird species. At the picnic site, you will have lunch before enjoying some more game viewing in the crater. In the afternoon you will drive and return to Arusha. This will mark the end of your Safari and beginning of your next destination
